Alden

SPONSOR ME

Alden arrived at the Lancrăm high-kill shelter in Transylvania on 12 September 2025. He is a 10-year-old German Shepherd × Shar Pei with a distinctive blue tongue. When he arrived, he had been badly bitten by other dogs and was thin, frightened, and covered in scars.

To give him a chance, he was transferred to one of our partner boarding kennels near Brăila, in eastern Romania. Because he is now an elderly dog, he lives safely in the infirmary instead of the main kennels. Despite everything he has endured, Alden is a gentle, shy soul who gets along well with other dogs. The first photo shows the day he arrived at the shelter; the second was taken in May, after months of safety and care.

Alden deserves to spend his senior years knowing kindness, comfort, and love. By sponsoring him, you will help provide his food, veterinary care, and the peaceful life every old dog deserves.
