Hazel

SPONSOR ME

Hazel's journey began at the Lancrăm high-kill shelter in Transylvania, Romania, where she arrived on 20 March 2025. Like so many dogs waiting behind shelter bars, Hazel spent months hoping for a chance at a better future before Walnut Tree Sanctuary was finally able to rescue her in September 2025.

After leaving Lancrăm, Hazel was first placed at one of our partner shelters in Timișoara, under the care of Ramona. Later, she moved to another of our partner shelters in Deva, where Angela continues to look after her while she waits for the next chapter of her life to begin.

Hazel is a beautiful girl with a gentle and friendly nature. She gets along well with the other dogs, enjoys human company, and is a pleasure to care for.

Hazel is still waiting for the opportunity to truly move forward. We hope to have the capacity to bring her to the sanctuary soon, where she can finally leave her shelter life behind and begin the next chapter of her journey.

After so much waiting, Hazel deserves the chance to finally belong to someone and experience the love and stability every dog deserves.

By sponsoring Hazel, you are helping us provide the care and support she needs while she waits for the brighter future she so deserves.
