Jenson

SPONSOR ME

Jenson arrived at the high-kill shelter of Lancrăm, Transylvania, Romania, on 1 August 2025, together with his brother, Jerrald. We were able to rescue both dogs from the shelter, but heartbreakingly, Jerrald did not survive.

The two brothers had a truly unique appearance. We believe they are a mix of Golden Retriever and Corgi, giving Jenson a charming Golden Retriever face and coat on short little legs.

Jenson is a gentle and sensitive young dog. When we met him during our visit to Romania in May, he was too shy to approach us, but his curiosity was evident. Rather than hiding away, he quietly watched us from a distance, showing that he wants to trust but simply doesn't know how yet.

When Jenson arrived at Lancrăm, he was only one year old. He is now around two years old and still has his whole life ahead of him. We hope to bring him either to our sanctuary or to an experienced foster home that can help fearful dogs gain confidence. In the right environment, with patience, kindness and understanding, we believe Jenson can learn that people are safe and finally become the happy dog he was always meant to be.

By sponsoring Jenson, you will help provide his food, veterinary care and the specialised support he needs while he waits for his chance at a new life.
