Noelle

SPONSOR ME

Noelle's story began on Christmas Day 2025, when she was found wandering the streets of Alba, Romania.

She was painfully thin, with every bone visible beneath her skin. Life on the streets had become dangerous for her, as local residents no longer wanted her in the neighbourhood. Although a volunteer from the Lancrăm high-kill shelter had noticed her and was trying to raise funds to help her, no rescue organisation was able to offer her a place.

We simply couldn't leave her there.

Walnut Tree Sanctuary stepped in and welcomed Noelle into our care. She was first taken to our partner veterinary clinic, Diana's, before being transferred to Cera's, one of our partner boarding kennels in Bulbucata, south of Bucharest, where she has been waiting ever since.

Today, Noelle has completely regained the weight she had lost, and we have had the pleasure of visiting her several times. She has blossomed into a beautiful, energetic German Shepherd who is full of life. She is intelligent, athletic and would thrive with an active family who enjoys spending time outdoors.

Noelle gets along well with other dogs and has also been successfully tested with cats. She would benefit from continuing her education, as she is eager to learn and has all the qualities to become an exceptional companion.

From a starving stray struggling to survive on the streets, Noelle has become a happy, healthy dog who is finally ready to leave her past behind. All she needs now is the loving family she has been waiting for.

By sponsoring Noelle, you are helping us provide the care, training and support she needs while she waits for the home she truly deserves.
