YOUPI

Youpi was among the very first group of dogs that we rescued in August of 20205. Because the sanctuary was not open yet, he spent his first few months at a foster where he had ample outdoor space and a doghouse to sleep in at night. We discovered he loved the doghouse, the couch, and being cozied up inside.

A few months later when a spot became available at the sanctuary, Youpi came to us. We put him online and he was adopted almost immediately, going first to the family as a foster before it became a permanent adoption. He lives in a large house, with a big garden and six or seven other residents, some of whom have dogs and cats of their own. His adopted mother is an artist, who travels often in a van and brings Youpi everywhere she goes. We adore seeing photos of Youpi visiting Italy, or sleeping in the hay with donkeys when they visit the Pyrenees. It’s the perfect home for him.
